This is a stunning piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. The central panel is painted and kiln fired featuring a bird landing on a branch with a butterfly to one side. To either side are flowers and vines with a total of 8 jewels. The frame is rectangular but the glass has a semi arch. It is painted on one side. Measurements are 63.5 inches wide by 18.5 tall. And 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is appx. 60 wide by 15 tall in the middle and 10 at the ends. Overall it is in good condition. Scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The painted piece is faded. There are a few tight hairlines. The glazing putty will need to be touched up around the edges. Please look at the pictures carefully. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
