I have three of these beauties that were salvaged/rescued from a commercial building/restaurant in Mequon, WI, but were not original to the building which was pretty much a hodge podge of eras! In any case, I had some mild restoration done on these as they were bowed pretty badly and some veryminor bowing remains. We did not have them taken out of the frames due to the fragility of these pieces to render them completely flat. Thankfully, the glass in each panel is in very nice shape considering their age and the fact that the building they were ultimately removed from was in a dire state of what looked like many years of neglect (and I’m being kind). They look to have been the top sashes to double hung windows and were most likely residential windows, probably in a Victorian home somewhere in the Milwaukee area. The green slag pieces are textured and the flower petals are a pinkish orange with amber centers that are small faceted pieces. There are some very small tight hairline cracks on each panel that are not notable, but no major breakage and the lead veins are in reasonably good shape. Each panel could still use some more light restoration to strengthen some of the lead veins which remain fragile. They could be cleaned more thoroughly, but also could be hung as is and look stunning. In frame measurement for four of them is 24w x 27h and glass only is 19 ½w x 23 ½h. All frames except the last one are painted a creamy white. Send me a message with any questions. Price is per window.
